Ahead of the European stock market opening today the US futures are in the green following what was a rather tepid set of closes on Wall Street last night. The Nasdaq 100 was held back by losses in some big tech names, as noted here ahead of the opening yesterday. However, the early losses in both Intel (INTC) and AMD (AMD) were pared back into that close, but both helped to lead the Nasdaq 100 to a slightly lower daily close. The index ended the session, 62 points lower, at 18,277. However, the Nasdaq 100 futures are rising again this morning and leading gains across the US equity futures. The index is currently priced to reopen later on at around 18,370
