Nasdaq 100 futures gain after Amazon, Apple and Meta all beat on Q4 earnings
Last night after the closing bell, the Q4 earnings reports from Amazon, Meta and Apple all beat on analysts forecasts for their Q4 earnings. Ahead of this the Nasdaq 100 had already put on 207 points, when closing at 17,344. The impact of these better than forecasts earnings reports has sent the futures price higher, at one stage pricing the opening for this afternoon at around 17,550. The gains in the Nasdaq does rather belie a lack of traction in the Dow futures though, but more on that dynamic later on. The Nasdaq 100 futures are currently pricing the opening at around 17,515
