Nasdaq 100 futures deeper in the red this morning
Last night the results from Alphabet beat the street, but not by a huge margin and initially that seemed to push the Nasdaq 100 futures above 19,800. The index had closed just prior to that release, at 19,754. However, the results from Tesla were not so impressive and that helped to force the Nasdaq 100 futures back down. The losses across Asia this morning and negative opening outlook for the European markets has further dented the Nasdaq futures today. So, right now the index is priced to open significantly lower later on. The index has not been helped much by a further slide in the price of TSLA in the grey market since the US close and the release of their results. Hence, right now the index is priced to reopen at around 19,580
