Nasdaq 100 futures buoyed by Netflix beat

Yesterday the Nasdaq 100 traded a range covered by 18,144 to 18,401. The index had opened at 18,369, fallen to the low and then rebounded to the high. The index later closed almost exactly unchanged, at 18,258. Just after the closing bell we had some important results from a tech index stalwart- Netflix. Their Q1 earnings report beat the street, on the top and bottom line. The company also stated confidence in the way forward and its resilience in the face of tariffs. That helped to lift the Nasdaq 100 futures just after the close. The index itself will not reopen later today, due to the NYSE closure. In terms of an indicative opening for next week, the last price seen here was something just above 18,300
