Nasdaq 100 feels the heat in early trading as it nears first technical support level
Yesterday the Nasdaq 100 managed to squeeze out a very modestly higher close and that saw the index end the session at 21,768. It officially reopened at 21,633 and immediately peaked at 21,642. Since then it has turned even lower, reaching a session low so far at 21,490. That further fall has also weighed on the S+P 500. The broader US stock market has fallen below 6k and towards 5,985. The nearest support on the Nasdaq 100 is not far away and that is the 21 day moving average, in place right now at 21,470. The index is currently trading at 21,499
