Nasdaq 100 falls below 18k as focus remains on tech and not the ISM
Just before the US ISM data hit the wires, the Nasdaq 100 had already traded to just below 18k for the first time since last week. The index had reopened lower this afternoon, at 18,088 from a close last night at 18,226. It did initially bounce after that ISM data sent US yields lower again. However, since then it has taken another hit lower as shares of Apple (AAPL) take another hit. Shares of Tesla (TSLA) are lower again too and both those stocks are having a negative impact on the Nasdaq 100. The index is just now trading at 17,967
