As noted yesterday and again this morning, the rotation out of tech and into the cyclical recovery stocks saw the Nasdaq 100 underperform all day. The index simply could not make much progress above 19,720 and the reported high of the session, at 19,726 defined the top of the day for the index and it fell back further ahead of and after the European close. That led to a low at 19,437. It did manage to recover some of the losses, but still closed 204 points lower, at 19,516. The Nasdaq 100 futures are slightly higher just now this morning, but not by much at the time of writing. The index appears to be taking no chances with the really big earnings report that is due after the closing bell tomorrow. That comes from NVIDIA and it is due out at 8.20pm GMT tomorrow evening. There will be more to add on that later today. Meantime, the Nasdaq 100 futures are currently pricing the opening for later today at around 19,540
