Nasdaq 100 extends opening gains closer to the first technical correction level

Much earlier today an update here noted the first technical correction level on the Nasdaq 100. To repeat here that, it is at 20,325 and represents a 38.2% correction of the fall from the record high, at 22,222 to the most recent low, at 19,152. The index reopened today at 20,196 and it has risen to a high so far around 20,290. So, as you can see, it is pretty close to that technical resistance level. It remains to be seen, if it is reached and whether, or not it caps any further gains today. Elsewhere, both the Dow Jones and the S+P 500 are not far off season highs just now as well. The Nasdaq 100 is currently trading at 22,275
