The Nasdaq 100 does not care about the US data as it lifts above 21,400
In the previous update it was noted that the US stock markets were off the boil following the disappointing US data releases this afternoon. Well, to be more accurate on that; the Dow Jones is lower and the S+P is off the top, but certainly not the Nasdaq 100. As expected here much earlier today, it was a record opening for the Nasdaq this afternoon. The index kicked off the session at a record opening level of 21,361. It traded to a high at 21,408 so far and it is not much removed from that new record high right now, currently trading at 21,395
