Nasdaq 100 beats the street again with another record close- futures higher this morning

As covered here on the opening of the US stock markets yesterday, it was the Nasdaq 100 that outperformed right from the get go. That outperformance lasted all the way to the closing bell. The index was by some margin the best of the major indexes, rising to a new all time high, at 21,235 and later setting a new record daily close, at 21,229. In contrast to that, the Dow Jones ended the day modestly in the red. So, far today the Nasdaq 100 futures have piled on more gains and ignored what is going on in the Korean markets, as that seems entirely localised at this stage. So, right now there seems little holding back the prospect of another record opening for the Nasdaq 100 later today (but never guaranteed), currently priced at around 21,315
