Nasdaq 100 again leads another day of records on Wall Street

It was not a record close for the Nasdaq 100 last night, but the index did narrowly lead the record close for the S+P 500 and the Dow Jones in percentage terms on the day. That said the more than 300 point gain on the opening for the Nasdaq 100 was its best levels of the session. From there it went into reverse, falling back from 20,273, to a low at 19,966, before later rebounding to close 142 points higher, at 20,115. That 0.72% gain on the session compared to 0.62% for the Dow Jones and 0.40% for the S+P 500. Overnight the Nikkei 225 has lifted back above 39k, but once again it is the more than 3% gains across the Chinese markets that has led the way higher in the Asian markets today. That has helped the Nasdaq 100 futures to rebound from earlier losses, after the US close last night. So, the index is currently priced to reopen much later today around that closing level
