Month-end blues send Dollar index (USDX) to lowest levels of the week

The dollar index (USDX) has further reversed the gains seen last week, when it topped out at 108.07. That move was highlighted here at the time and since this time last week, the index has been back-tracking. The index has just fallen to its lowest level since peaking last Friday. The index just dropped to 105.70. The fall this morning is clearly due to the slide in the USD/JPY and not its major component, the EUR/USD. The push towards 1.2750 in the GBP/USD has assisted the fall in the index too. The USD/JPY just now hit a fresh session low, underneath 149.65 and these two moves are adding more pressure as the month-end looms this evening. So, as you can see the dollar is clearly suffering out flow and it remains to be seen, how much more of this will be seen ahead of the close tonight
