A mixed opening for US stock markets as the Nasdaq 100 outperforms
The US stock markets have just reopened and it has been a mixed start to the day, with immediate opening gains for the Nasdaq 100 offset by opening losses in the Dow Jones. So, we have immediate rotation in favour of tech, but that can change, particularly after the US PMI data release shortly, at 1.45pm GMT. The Nasdaq 100 is just now trading around 20,200 and clearly still buoyed by opening gains in Tesla (TSLA), whilst the Dow Jones falls towards 42,400
