Leading names push Dow Jones futures lower this morning

The Dow Jones sure has seen some extensive price action since my last update here. The index rose on Friday evening into the weekly close and ended that session at 43,840. The early price action on Monday saw it briefly top 44k, peaking at 44,033. However, it was not able to hold that rise and crumbled into the close, ending the session at 43,191. On Tuesday it suffered more losses, to below 43k, falling to set a new low interim low at 42,347. The rebound yesterday saw it rise to 43,135. Incidentally, the low seen on Tuesday did fill an open gap on the daily charts, left ajar from way back on January 15. So, the index closed last night at 43,006, with a gain of 485 points on the session. Right now the opening outlook is not so clever and the losses in the futures are being led by falls in the premarket for the likes of NVIDIA, Amazon and Walmart. The opening call right now is priced around 42,535, but please stand by for more volatility when live trading resumes
