Japanese comments do little as USD/JPY edges to test recent highs
Recent comments from a leading Japanese official warning again about Yen weakness a few moments ago do not appear to have helped the currency gain. In fact the USD/JPY is right now testing the first of those two noted levels, at 158.23. The high seen a moment ago was set at 158.23, so as you can see it has tested the level to the pip, but as of yet not surpassed it. That might happen and as usual much could depend upon whether or not there are stops in place, most notably above 158.26. The USD/JPY is right now trading at 158.22
