Its a sea of green for the European opening this morning-check out the CAC 40 now
The European stock markets have just reopened and it is a sea of green out there in early trading and the start to the new month. The gains have been led by the CAC 40, but down slightly from an earlier indicative level close to 7,720. The index is still way above where it closed on Friday and leading the DAX and the FTSE 100. The gains here in Europe are broad based too. The CAC 40 is currently trading around 7,665 which is a rise of more than 2.5% from where it closed on Friday, at 7,479
