Its a pretty wild ride out there this evening as Dow Jones back off

The earlier surge in the US stock markets was covered here, but what was not covered was the further extent of those gains. The Dow Jones rose further above its 200 day moving average (42,179 now), peaking at 42,382. Subsequent to that high the index then reversed down to 41,963, So, as warned  earlier, the break above that level was not to be trusted. So, it is a wild ride out there this evening folks and as we draw closer to 8pm GMT it might get wilder still. As if to prove that the Dow has just rebounded back to above 42,150. There is still over an hour to go before we might get confirmation of exactly what tariffs will be set in place and on whom. More to follow once that becomes clear.
