An important note about Quick News updates next week and Google and Tesla this evening
Owing to absence there will be no Quick News updates from this analyst next Monday and Tuesday, July 29 and July 30. Updates will resume on Wednesday July 31 ahead of important events due later next week- the Bank of England monetary policy decision on Thursday August 1 and the Monthly US jobs report on Friday August 2. As far as today is concerned, there will also be updates later this evening, after the release of the latest Q2 earnings reports from Alphabet (GOOGL) and Tesla (TSLA), both which come after the US closing bell at 8pm GMT. Ahead of that the Nasdaq 100 is now backing away from an earlier session high at 19,870. The index is just now tracking back to session lows (19,758), currently trading at 19,785 and of course it could be significantly impacted after the close when those tech stocks report
