Important- European market Easter closes tomorrow and Monday- GBP/USD in focus

Pretty much all of the European markets will be closed tomorrow (Good Friday) and on Monday (Easter Monday). That covers France, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, Spain, Holland and Italy. The Asian markets will be open though and the US will open later too. The US is also open for business on Monday. So, that does bring into question the prospect of thin markets tomorrow morning and again on Monday too. That is something you need to factor into your trading, especially if pricing conditions do suffer liquidity issues either side of the weekend. It also leaves open the prospect of price gaps across a number of instruments, with particular focus on the FX major pairings. For example London will not see the Pound versus any of its leading counterparts from the close tonight until the opening on Tuesday. Since the last update here on the GBP/USD yesterday it fallen back from a high at 1.3290 seen yesterday morning. The GBP/USD closed in the US last night at 1.3244 and earlier today it came close to the 1.3200 handle (1.3203 the low). The high seen since then has been set at 1.3247. It is right now at 1.3237
