Important Correction to an earlier update on UK inflation reports
A little earlier this morning an update here noted that the latest UK RPI and CPI inflation reports will be released at 6am GMT tomorrow. That was incorrect owing to a financial calendar transposing the wrong release date into my data base. So, please accept my sincere apologies for that error. The UK CPI and RPI reports will be released the following day, at 6am GMT on Wednesday July 17. That does not detract from the bones of that earlier update though, but at the same time it does delay the time at which that data might have an impact on the currency.
