Gold taking advantage of Yen gains
Gold is pressing a little higher this morning, as US yields slips slightly and the Yen gains. The USD/JPY is now pushing to session lows, just underneath 150.25 and that is supporting gold too. The metal has now lifted to its highest levels of the week. The prospect of a move above $2,040 looks live just now, so long as these Yen gains continue to support the topside in the metal. Gold has just now lifted above $2,038.
