Gold slips as markets go risk-on

As the prospect of a ceasefire in the Middle East garners yet more traction and European stocks advance, there are some immediate question markets over the attractiveness of gold in the short term. Consequently, the metal has just now slipped to fresh session lows, as it re-approaches the $2,700 handle. Perhaps there is a question being asked right now and it is; do I want to hold gold when stocks and risk are surging? A valid question for sure and one that is seemingly being answered right now, with a no. Gold has just now hit a fresh session around $2,703.50. It is currently trading at $2,704.20
