Gold sets in place a massive outside day reversal

The fall back in gold yesterday afternoon was covered here when it fell further below $3,450. The metal was already falling further into the US close, when those Trump comments sent stock futures and the dollar charging higher. Gold had closed in the US at $3,380.63. Those comments from Trump sent it tumbling further and delivered a low at $3,315.94. It did rebound earlier today, but since then it has fallen back from an earlier session high, at $3,386.94. The thing is; that close last night was a pretty significant outside day reversal, as it had already closed well below the close seen on Monday, at $3,423.98, after setting a new all time high (3,500.10) earlier in the day. There will be more to add on this as the morning unfolds. Gold is currently trading at $3,319.70
