Gold sets a new record high but not for long
Sometimes in this game you just cannot write the script. So, a short while ago Gold did set a new all time high, just surpassing the existing record, at $2,685.58. Gold just reached $2,685.74, but as soon as it was there it was not and immediately reversed lower. The price action sure is sticky still and we might have to see how this plays out before even thinking about casting any judgements on where next for the metal. That is because the new record has so far not delivered any acceleration whatsoever. So, there is a risk that it might not at all, but the price action will surely tell as the session develops. Gold is currently trading at $2,682.10
