As noted here on Thursday, Gold ran into profit-taking ahead of the Easter weekend. That saw it fall below $3,300 and hit a low around $3,284, before rebounding into the US close. Gold closed in the US on Thursday, at $3,326.85 and this morning it has surged past the previous record it set only last week, at $3,357.78. The growing lack of confidence in US assets and risk aversion has seen gold lift to a new all time high this morning, at $3,385.98, set just a moment ago. The metal is totally into uncharted territory once again folks. Under the current circumstances probably not many are even concerned about charts right now. This is a rush for a haven that has no interest in such matters. Gold is currently trading at $3,384.90
