Gold reaches a new all time high at $2,149.25
Gold has now taken advantage of the lower US yields and dollar struggling for traction and a little earlier this afternoon that saw the yellow metal make it fresh all time highs, taking out the high seen yesterday and pushing on closer to the $2,150 mark. The record high set so far this afternoon has been at $2,149.25, but it has backed away from that now, as Jerome Powell is soon set to begin talking. It seems that is merely due to some short-term profit talking in case the Fed boss delivers a hawkish surprise in his testimony. Gold is right now trading at $2,142,15
