Gold pushing higher this morning

Yesterday Gold reached a high at $2,669.98 just after the 4pm London FX fix. However, the slide that followed was steep and it saw the metal drop back to a low at $2,649.50, before later recovering into the US close, where it ended the session at $2,661.94. The price action so far today has seen it just now push higher again, from an earlier session low at $2,655.63. The thing about that low; is it is above the well noted 50 day moving average (now at exactly $2,650) and that remains an immediate support level of note this morning. The high seen so far this morning has been set at $2,665.73 and it is not much below that high right now. There will be more to add on its progress later this morning
