Gold lifts to session highs above $2,333

On Friday Gold did narrowly failed to set a new all time monthly close by just $1. Gold had closed at the end of May at $2,327.33. It closed on Friday at $2,326.75. That almost record monthly monthly close also belied another failure to a make a sustained move above $2,336.66. The high seen was set at $2,339.75. Earlier today Gold fell back a bit more, to a session low at $2,318.61 just ahead of the European opening. Well, since then it has been on the rebound again and just now hit a session high at $2,333.55. So, it remains to be seen, if it can vault levels above $2,336.66 again and if it does will it be sustained this time. Well, it has to get there first and that is not a given right now, but it is making progress right now all the same
