Gold lifts to a new record high above $2,600, reaching $2,607
It the past few minutes Gold has lifted to set a new record high above the previous one set earlier this one, at $2,600.15. Gold has just now lifted above $2,607 and the catalyst for the move has come from further Middle Eastern concerns after Russia has warned Isreal about an incursion into Lebanon. This has upped the anti in terms of geopolitical risks and has driven investors to seek out the haven of the metal once more. Gold is currently trading at $2,605.70
