Gold lifts above $2,676 again

Earlier this morning Gold was edging a little lower and that saw the metal dip towards $2,660 per ounce. The European low was set around $2,661.50, but since then it has been on the rebound again and a short while ago it rose to a European session high, at $2,676.79. That rebound tested and ever so slightly surpassed the highs seen yesterday, but so far it has not been able to force a move much beyond that level. The fact that it lifted with the USD/JPY and a corresponding rise in US yields once again underscores the disconnect in the more usual pricing dynamics. That spells one thing folks- a buyer who seems not to care about that. The reader is left to make their own mind up on who that might be. Well, Gold has just edged off that session high now and it is currently trading at $2,672.30
