Gold jumps to another new record at $3,084.29

Yesterday, as covered here in the final update of the day, the push to almost touch $3,060 per ounce was covered and of course it was a new record for the metal when it rose to 3,059.63. The lack of follow-though on that move was also mentioned, but you know what? The last time Gold hit a new record the price action was similar. It did not follow-through much that same day, but it did on the following one. Well, that is exactly what it has done today. Gold has jumped after closing in the US last night at $3,057.29. Gold has risen to set a new all time high a moment ago, at $3,083.33 and by the looks of things, it could extend further on that record too. There is a European price gap though, so we could expect a fall back at some stage if there is reason to deliver that. Gold is currently trading at $3,083.60
