Gold holds $3,300 at the first time of asking and rebounds
A little earlier this afternoon gold fell back to set a fresh session low at $3,300.64. That low came after the metal had peaked much earlier today at $3,348.73. The price action since that noted low has seen the metal lift now and its seems a slight risk-off tinge to the US stock markets opening has helped to lift the metal, as has the fall back in the USD/JPY. Incidentally, the USD/JPY is now a little closer to that 142.00 level. Gold is right now at $3,321.20
