Gold finds a large buyer as it lifts to new records above $3,200
As Gold was rising yesterday afternoon an update here noted a seriously large Asian buyer driving the metal to fresh records above $3,167 per ounce. Well that move stalled around $3,175 for a while and it later closed at $3,176.23- still a new record close of course. Earlier today, as the Asian markets reopened that large buyer stepped up to the plate again and took the metal above $3,200 for the first time ever. So, the new record high has been now set at $3,220.08. It is falling back from that new record now though. Gold has dropped back to around $3,187 a short while ago and it could find support around $3,167 if this current sell-off continues. It is currently trading at $3,193.90
