Gold finds fresh buyers ahead of the weekend after technically positive close last night
Well, seeing as it is Friday today perhaps it should come as no surprise to see that Gold has continued to rise earlier. The metal was already in recovery mode yesterday afternoon, when it pushed back above $2,630 into the US close and later ended that session at $2,629.74. That daily close was back above the 21 day moving average (in place right now at 2,627.50). That was therefore a technically positive close and probably helped the further gains earlier today, which saw it climb to a session high not that long ago at $2,647.25. It has just backed off from that high right now though. Gold is currently trading at $2,639.70
