Gold falls below $2,310 as Yen weakens near to 35 year lows

Following on from the previous update noting the further slide in the Yen versus the dollar, Gold has reacted negatively to that move, as one might expect. The metal has just now fallen to a fresh session low at $2,307.81 and looks like it is pretty friendless right now. The current configuration on the daily chart does not look exactly supportive right now either. So, another break below $2,300 cannot be ruled out, if the Yen were to weaken further. That remains to be seen though. Gold is just now trading at $2,308.40
