Gold falls back again as month-end looms

As the weekend loomed Gold rose into the US close. Earlier in the day it had rejected a move below the lows seen on Wednesday, when it based out then at $3,260.39. The low seen on Friday was at $3,265.22. The metal later closed in the US at $3,319.72. Overnight it has seen an early opening rise to $3,337.20 run into sellers once again. The metal has fallen back to a low earlier at $3,268.23. Once again we might look to the proximity of the month-end to explain that. It could be another reason for holders of the metal to lighten up again ahead of that monthly close? That said, as you can see, that $3,260 level has so far held firm once again. Gold has since lighted back above $3,300 again, but it is below that level right now. The clear and immediate lines of demarcation would seem to rest with $3,260 and $3,370. Gold is currently trading at $3,293.15
