Gold extends gains close to $2,360
Gold has made some pretty good progress now today. The metal has now lifted to a new high on the week. Earlier today Gold lifted to around $2,345, but then fell back towards $2,330 as the dollar advanced with yields. Well, despite that dynamic being largely unchanged right now, Gold has lifted close to the $2,360 mark a short while ago. There is no direct news based catalyst for the move, and certainly nothing technically to explain that other than to state the obvious- more buyers than sellers it seems. Gold is currently trading at $2,357.50
