Gold edging higher this morning

Yesterday the price action in Gold was again pretty tricky and seemingly rather inconsistent at times. However, despite the further rebound in US yields and the USD/JPY, the metal did not fall below $2,370. The low seen was set just ahead of $2,371 and it later closed in the US at $2,376.86, but that was still around $20 below its earlier session high. It is pressing a little higher right now this morning. The high seen so far has been set at $2,385.61. The next hurdle would appear to be the high seen yesterday just above $2,397 and then of course we have the $2400 handle which of course has guarded the topside all week so far. Gold is currently trading at $2,385.15
