Gold edges higher as US yields and USD/JPY slip

Yesterday gold rose to a rebound high at $2,047.93. However it was not able to hold all that gain ands slipped back into the European close. The metal later ended the US session at 2,036.36. It has been on the rise this morning though and just now hit a fresh session high at 2,044,42. The USD/JPY is falling back from above 142 now and threatening the 141.50 level once more. That is being delivered by a lower US yields now and so it explains the push higher in Gold. The current chart dynamic suggests a potential rise above 2,050 is on the cards too, but we shall have to see if is plays out that way and keep a close eye on the USD/JPY price action too. Gold is currently trading at $2,043.75
