Gold breaks above interim highs ahead of $2,120
In recent trading gold has now lifted above the noted highs seen yesterday and earlier today. The move above $2,120 has now taken the metal one step closed to the current all time record high, at $2,135.39. The high set a moment ago was at $2,123.42. So, as you can see, Gold is now within striking distance of setting fresh records today. Now that may, or may not be seen later, but as with many other instruments today, that could depend on what the US ISM index has to offer. That is because that data has the power to shift US treasury yields. Gold is just now trading at $2,120.60
