Gold approaching fresh records

On October 23 Gold set a new record high at $2,758.49. The metal is making progress towards that record this morning. The move higher has extended to $2,757.77 earlier today. Gold had closed in the US last night at $2,742.46. So, as you can see it has already lifted some $15 above that this morning and come very close to readjusting the record books today. Of course the prospect of that it very live right now, despite the metal edging back from that earlier Asian session high. The thing to note here is that despite US yields not really falling back that much, fresh demand for Gold is clear to see this morning. The low today since that earlier high has been set at $2,749.95. Gold is currently trading at $2,754.45
