GBP/USD still under pressure this morning as it edges towards support at 1.3067
The Pound versus the dollar is just now hitting fresh session lows as it extends slightly the earlier dip below 1.3088. The GBP/USD has just reached a new low on the morning at 1.3077. The move lower comes as the dollar continues to advance and that was noted here in respect of the USD/JPY in the previous update. Beyond the current levels there is support in place right now at 1.3067 and that is where the 21 day moving average currently resides. After that we have minor support in place lower down at 1.3044, from a previous daily high set back on July 17. The GBP/USD is currently trading at 1.3078
