GBP/USD slips back again as Reeves warns of difficult decisions ahead to fix UK economy

The GBP/USD managed to edge back above 1.30 again, from an earlier low at 1.2982. However, it has just now fallen back again and is pushing to set fresh session lows underneath 1.2980. The driver for the latest relapse has come from comments from the new UK chancellor, Rachel Reeves. Reeves has just stated there are difficult decisions that lie ahead in order to fix the UK economy.  That further relapse in the GBP/USD has now delivered a rise above 0.8420 in the EUR/GBP and that comes ahead of the ECB policy decision, due in less than one hour from now. The GBP/USD is just now trading at 1.2978
