GBP/USD slightly higher this morning

Yesterday the comments from the BOE boss, Andrew Bailey sure dealt the Pound a pretty severe blow. The GBP/USD fell back from above 1.3250 to below 1.3100 at one stage. The low seen was set at 1.3091 as the US ISM data sent the dollar higher. However, the dollar did eventually fall back into the US close and has yet to make any progress so far today. That has helped the GBP/USD to make back some of the losses it suffered yesterday. The GBP/USD closed in the US last night at 1.3124. It has traded to a high so far today at 1 3141. However, that recovery is by no means conclusive and looks mostly based on a slight dollar relapse this morning. That might all change by the time the latest US jobs report hits the screens, at 12.30pm GMT. The GBP/USD is currently trading at 1.3132
