GBP/USD slide continues to below 1.2250 as EUR/GBP vaults 0.8400
Further to recent updates this morning, the woes for the Pound have continued to deteriorate. The GBP/USD has just now fallen further, to below 1.2250 a moment ago. At the same time, the EUR/GBP has continued to advance and now lifted above that 0.8400 handle. The previous interim high on that was set at 0.8419 back in November last year. The GBP/JPY is lower too and the GBP/USD does not appear to be getting any support whatsoever right now, but it might be unwise to rule out a bounce at any stage. The GBP/USD just hit a session low at 1.2339. It is actually bouncing from that low right now, currently trading at 1.2259
