GBP/USD lifts to session highs following BOE comments
The Bank of England chief economist, Huw Pill is talking on the wires just now and his comments have helped to push the Pound higher. The GBP/USD has now risen above 1.2825 and looks to be tripping stops the highs seen yesterday and it might accelerate further above 1.2825 following these rather hawkish comments from Pill. Once again though, the reader is reminded of that major level, at 1.2848. So, it remains to be seen if that level will cap any further gains in the Pound this afternoon. The GBP/USD is currently trading at 1.2833
