GBP/USD has a look below 1.3100 this morning

The GBP/USD has not long ago hit a new session low under 1.3095 and that is the first time the Pound has traded back underneath the 1.3100 handle since this time last week. If you look at a chart of the price action back on September 3 you will see it based out several times just below 1.3090, before rebounding to a high seen on Friday, after the US jobs report, at 1.3238. The failure to hold that gain has of course marked another rejection of the 2022 high, at 1.3298. The further rebound in the dollar since Friday has now seen the USD/JPY rise to session highs right now, at 143.25 and that is adding fresh downside pressure on the GBP/USD and the EUR/USD. Ut is also possible there might be some technical stops below 1.3088 in place right now too, but so far that has capped the downside this morning. The low set a moment ago was at 1.3092. The GBP/USD is currently trading at 1.3097
