GBP/USD falls again as UK government refuses to answer parliamentary question on UK bonds

Earlier today an urgent question was accepted to be raised in the House of Commons. The assistant to the UK chancellor has just stood up in the House and effectively refused to answer the question raised by the shadow Chancellor. The immediate reaction has seen the Pound fall back again versus the dollar and the Euro and the absence of the Chancellor, Rachel Reeves has also not gone unnoticed by the markets. As you can see, this official lack of an appropriate response has not been well greeted by the Pound. The GBP/USD is right now at 1.2258
