GBP/USD extends gains closer to 1.2900 as EUR/GBP hits session lows underneath 0.8520
The GBP/USD is advancing further just now and pushing closer to the 1.2900 handle. The move comes as the USD/JPY drops back to fresh session lows around 148.65 and the EUR/GBP faces further pressure. The EUR/GBP has just now fallen below 0.8520 for the first time this week and that has helped to propel the GBP/USD to a session high a moment ago at 1.2891.
