FTSE 100 stalls ahead of 7,900 again

Earlier today the positive opening for the European stock markets delivered gains across the board. However, as already reported on here earlier those gains were not sustained for the most part and that especially applied to the FTSE 100. Earlier the UK index tested the 7,900 for a second day in a row, but stalled short of the level again. The high seen was set at 7,898. It has since fallen back towards 7,850. Meantime, that noted 21 day moving average is now rising and in place right now at 7,906. The US stock market futures are all still holding gains though and that is helping to hold the FTSE and DAX off their earlier session lows
